Scripture is a light. Even better, it is God’s light, God’s authoritative Word. One function of God’s Word is to reveal His will (Psalm 119:105).
There is no area in today’s culture more in need of God’s light than marriage. There are a number of statistics I could cite here, but I will get to the point: divorce is highly prevalent in the American culture, including the church. It is thus important for every believer to have a clear grasp of where they believe the Bible stands on divorce and remarriage.
Over the next few weeks, I will make several posts on divorce and remarriage. This issue cannot be thoroughly examined on a blog. My goal is to give you some thoughts to aid you in your study of this important issue.
