Bryan Chapell is coming out with a new book that sounds excellent, “Christ-Centered Worship: Letting the Gospel Shape our Practice.”
Chapell is the president of Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis and the author of Christ-Centered Preaching: Redeeming the Expository Sermon and Holiness by Grace, both books I have not read, but have had highly recommended by trusted sources.
Hopefully, Chapell’s new book will give us a resource to help people live Gospel-shaped moral lives with Christ as their foundation instead of mere human-effort moral lives that leave people without hope, just like the Pharisees (those of them who rejected Christ).
